The Emerald Ash Borer arrived in the Denver Metro area a few years ago. I have made a Fraxinus Ash page under Deciduous Trees with some really great instructional video’s on the borer. Normally Ash trees are not used that much for Bonsai, but Colorado is home to the Single Leaf Ash tree which do make really good Bonsai. I have a couple of Single Leaf trees underdevelopment and they will be posted latter after spring has arrived. Please take some time to watch these video’s you just might be saving your Ash tree.
