The Bob Kataoka Memorial Award

HISTORY – In 1986, as tribute to the late Master Bonsai Artist, Mr. Bob Kataoka, the Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society established the Bob Kataoka Memorial Award for the Bonsai Artist of the Year.  The award recognizes RMBS’ members who have demonstrated a knowledge and practice of bonsai art through the examples of bonsai that they have designed and maintained.  It is the highest award given by the Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society.
