Bill Valavanis has an article on his blog titled “2018 38th Nippon Bonsai Taikan Exhibition Part 3“. The trees and pots are fantastic, but it was the price tags on each tree that caught my attention the most. I checked the first tree and converted 18,000,000 Yen (google it) and it was only around 164000 US dollars. Not sure what to think of this price? Its a nice article and all I could look at was the price tags. Maybe Santa will have one of these trees or pots under the Christmas tree? I am not sure I like or dislike the stone display with trees with out seeing them in person. They look very interesting perhaps even cutting edge for Bonsai?
