I have updated my Cotinus coggygria – Purple Smoke Bush page with a new gallery of the tree. The tree was attacked by a large thunderstorm with hail it in. The tree fought back with new ramification branches everywhere. I would like to take credit for the ramification, but alas that would be a lie! The apex still needs some work on it, I plan on raising the middle of it, looks to flat right now. The photo of the tree with no leaves was taken in Feb. 2020.
