On August 19th, 2020 Denver Botanic Gardens Bonsai Collection Management and Curation intern J. Henry Basile wrote a beautiful article of his experiences working in the Bonsai Pavilion. This is a really great article to read and understand what a beginner Bonsai Artist goes through. The article is titled “Cultivating Artistic Expression Through Bonsai“. I was lucky enough to meet this young man and I was very impressed with him and his desire to learn all there is about Bonsai trees and their care. I wish him great success in his professional career and his personal life.
