I have noticed most Metasequoia Glyptostroboides – Dawn Redwood Bonsai trees are designed like a typical conifer tree would be with the branches styled in a downward motion. Dawn Redwoods growing in the wild do not grow with there branches pointing down towards the soil, they grow up and they stay that way.
