ofBonsaiMagazine produced a really great video of Ryan Neil and Marc Noelanders setting up the 2012 BCI/ABS International Bonsai Convention held in Denver, Colorado. This video is around 1 hour and 36 minutes long and it just jam packed full of great information on Trees, Pots, Stands, Colors, Tree positions and how to lay the show out right down to which way should the trees be pointed etc. You can learn a lot about Bonsai and the tree is just part of the composition. I just watched it again and there is so much good information in this video I thought I would post it again. One of my trees was selected for the show, alas, they did not talk about my tree, but they did talk about my accent plant, or at least Marc did! I was just thrilled to have a tree in the International show after only 3 years in Bonsai.
