International Master Michael Hagedorn from Crataegus Bonsai has a really great article (‘Stampede’ Ponderosa Pine Styling…) out on styling a big beautiful Pinus Ponderosa that is primarily growing horizontally along the ground and changed the planting angle to make it into a cascade tree.
