I have updated the Chaenomeles Quince ‘Kurokoji’ Bonsai page with new spring photo’s and more information on growing them as Bonsai. Never give up on this tree and think it is dead. Keep it watered and put it out in the spring and your probably going to be surprised to see the tree is alive and well and going to bloom. The tree basically hates hot weather and drops its leaves. Hence my statement, do not give up on the tree.
