Check this cool Procumbens Nana Juniper out from Ronin Bonsai. It looks like it is planted into or on a piece of deadwood. I think this is cutting edge Bonsai. The Denver Botanic Gardens has a similar Bonsai designed by International Bonsai Master Bjorn Bjorholm featuring two different species on a very large piece of deadwood.
