I have two Hawthorns that refuse to bloom. One was grown from seed and the other is a standard nursery tree. Both have lots of branches but no flowers. I must be doing something wrong? Graham Potter has an excellant article titled “Getting Bonsai – Hawthorns To Flower – THE MOON FLOWER” explaining how to get them to bloom. I must admit that I have let the branches grow with out reigning them in. I am going to try Graham techniques going forward.
