Bonsai Empire has a  new video out titled “Designing an Olive Bonsai tree“, featuring International Bonsai Master Bjorn Bjorholm and a friend. The tree is a massive Olive tree growing as a cascade. This video is a really great educational video and you can learn a lot from it. Things to watch and learn: overall evaluation of the tree, which branches to keep and not keep, branch size is not always a good thing, “V” shape branches, Fan shaped branch structure, aging green deadwood to match old deadwood,  how to build an apex, large rocks in the pot for weight, re-potting a large very heavy tree, pot has to big enough to hold large rock and large tree, plus more.
