I have updated my Rhus Trilobata “Autumn Amber” Three Leaf Sumac Bonsai tree number 2 since I took the last photo on 6-23-2018. The tree now looks a lot fuller and more mature now. The foliage is now starting to turn colorful. There are no flower buds yet, I may have cut the tree back to late in the season. If you want flowers and I do, you have to figure out how late you can prune the tree back. If you prune back to late you get no flowers next year. Here are two photos one taken on 08-26-2019 and 06-23-2019. This is a great species for beginner artists to learn on.
