HomeUncategorizedColorado Bonsai – Summer watering tip

JONAS DUPUICH by Bonsai Tonight has a nice article titled “Summer watering tip” out. This is a great article on how to water trees. I might add if your watering with a water wand you need to to set the watering wand on low outflow. Water tends to just run off the surface of the soil and then down the sides of the pot. Mean while most of the root ball does not get watered. Watch the surface of the soil when you water and you will see what I mean. I must admit it does take a lot more time to water though. Another tip from me is to have a second watering wand around to use when the first wand quits working. I have added the article to the Watering Bonsai page listed under Bonsai Basics.
