I have added a new page for Forestiera neomexicana – New Mexico Privet Bonsai. New Mexico Privets make really good Bonsai. They are easy to grow, wire, root prune, re-pot. They have really small leaves and they turn yellow in the fall. They would be a good tree for beginners to learn on. They are very hardy and trees in Bonsai pots winter in the garage. Nursery potted trees winter in gravel bunkers.
