Bonsai Empire has a video titled “Tokonoma by David Benavente“. This is a great video to learn about displaying a tree in a Tokonoma. David was given an opportunity to display 5 trees in 5 consecutive Tokonoma’s. The first tree is really interesting for a couple of reason: David uses a rose and a hidden fern in the display, the rest of the trees are great.
