I ran across a great oak tree being used for Bonsai by the Pacific Bonsai Museum and it is a Quercus John – Tuckeri or Tucker’s Oak. This is an unusual species of oak for Bonsai purposes. It looks like it should be used more often for Bonsai. I made a new page for this species of Oak and have listed it under Oak Bonsai, Deciduous Bonsai and Bonsai Tree Information pages.
