International Bonsai Master Bill Valavanis has a new article out titled “Using Accessory Plantings For Displaying Bonsai“. This is a great article to  help artists learn how to display accent plants with their Bonsai trees. There are general guidelines for using accent plants. If your displaying a confier in an un-glazed pot then you should use a glazed pot with you accent plant. This is mentioned in Bill’s article plus a lot more.
