HomeUncategorizedColorado Bonsai – 4 Year Anniversary Announcement

On Jan. 9th, 2020, will be my four year anniversary from the date I resigned as the Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society webmaster. I had a goal in mind that I wanted to reach on that day. It looks like my goal will not happen on that day. I actually reached my goal on Jan. 4th, 2020, five days early. My goal was to reach 100,000 visitors on this website by 01/09/2020.

Ex-President of the Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society (RMBS) Tom Anglewicz made a proposal to the RMBS board that he be allowed to “Review, Edit and Purge” the clubs website of inferior web content that I as webmaster added. The proposal was approved despite my objections about the lies being told that day. All of my 880 days worth of work was deleted in the August time frame. For three long years Ex-President Tom Anglewicz was in charge of the clubs website. Daily visitors to the newly redesigned club website was around one a day.

Someone was lying to the board on Jan. 9th, 2016. Either the Ex- President of the club Tom Anglewicz was lying or the webmaster (me) was lying about the content on the website. I built this website in Oct. of 2016 when it went online using the same content that was deleted off the clubs website. If Ex-President Tom Anglewicz was telling the truth about the bad content on the clubs website then my brand new website should fail right from the get go. If the webmaster (me) was telling the truth then my new website would take off and be successful. Father time would prove either the Ex-President or the webmaster to be the liar. Facts and figures are always the best data to use when trying to figure out situations like this. Look at the numbers or in this case the visitors to each website and then determine who was lying.

RMBS visitors 4 years 1,460

As of 1/5/2020, This website visitors – 4 years 100,012

The clubs webmaster was the one telling the truth that day.

I think it is time for the ex-president to make a public apology at the next RMBS club meeting to the old webmaster. I also think the ex-president should apologize at the same meeting to RMBS board members he lied to. Finally I think the ex-president should apologize to the entire RMBS club for destroying the clubs website for his own purposes.
