International Bonsai Master Jonas Dupuich has a nice article out titled  “Onuma’s mini-sized bonsai“. The article is about Bonsai Master  Kazuo Onuma who specializes in miniture bonsai trees. It looks like Kazuo is purposely washing away soil on his chojubai quince and using the now exposed roots as branches. Its an interesting idea. Air layering sacrificial branches is a specialty of Kazuo to. He using this technique to produce more trees for sale in his nursery. I have added the article to the Museums/Shows/Botanic Gardens page.
