International Bonsai Master Bjorn Bjorholm has a new video titled “Sekka Hinoki from Simple Material | Bonsai-U“. Sekka is a miniature form Hinoki Cypress with very tiny needles and they tend to grow long branches that fork off in different directions all on their own. Bjorn gives excellant advice on how Sekka grow and how to keep them healthy. I have found Sekka Hinoki to be difficult to keep alive and I must admit to killing all of them. Bjorn also has a ton of advice on Hinoki cypress trees and also explains how to wire branches up and down.
