International Bonsai Master Bill Valavanis has a new article out titled “Defoliating Two Japanese Maples“. Bill gives his thoughts on his 40 years of experience “Defoliating” Japanese Maples in the article.  Bill’s Japanese maples are to die for. Other Bonsai Masters are saying do not “Defoliate” Japanese Maples. You will have to read the article and decide for yourself.
