International Bonsai Master Michael Hagedorn has a three part series of articles titled “Deciduous Early Development Part III, Part IV, Part V: Styrax“. Michael gives you great advice on using the species for Bonsai. Styrax make excellent Bonsai trees if you can find a nice large trunked one or you can start them from seedlings if need be.
