I have a new update for my Cercocarpus breviflorus Gray var. breviflorus Tree #1. I will be getting a new Bonsai pot from Sara Rayner for the tree. The tree is still in its plastic growing pot from the collector. The pot started falling apart so it must be repotted in the spring of 2020. Its a big heavy tree and needs a big heavy pot and so the pot below will be coming to Colorado in the near future. The next big decision is how to keep the tree from falling over. The pot weighs 18 pounds which is good unless you have to lift it and the tree. I could barely pick the tree/pot up before when I got it. I can pick it up ok now. I have some new ideas on how to secure the tree to the pot. I just might take some photos of the process. I hoping Sara will make a similar gray colored pot sometime in the future? The tree has a lot more foliage then what you see below. A lot more as I have not let it get any taller and it has responded back with more lower growth all over.
