International Bonsai Master Born Bjorholm has a new video out titled “Epic Pine Bonsai Rock Planting | In the Workshop, Ep. 9“. In this video Bjorn and friend repots a rather large and tall Pinus Ponderosa – Ponderosa Pine tree from a ceramic pot onto a very large lace rock. They did a good job except one thing. I do not agree with how they anchored the tree to the rock. Running aluminum wire under the lace rock and then over the planting area is not a good way to anchor the rock. In my opinion they should have drilled holes through the lace rock to anchor the tree.
