International Bonsai Master Ryan Neil has a new video titled out “Deciduous Raft Design“. In this video Ryan take a large Hornbeam purchased from Driftwood Bonsai and turns it into a great raft style Bonsai tree. He does this by building a wooden frame/box to lay the tree on its side. He shows you how to secure the tree and apply rooting hormone to the tree to induce roots all along the trunk being buried in the wooden pot.
