The Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt has released a new video titled “New Short Film of Kathy Shaner in the BGLM released“. Kathy Shaner is an International Bonsai Master that studied in Japan. She was the first Non-Japanese person and the first woman to be give the title of “Bonsai Master” by the Nippon Bonsai Association of Japan. Kathy is the curator of the Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt in Oakland, California. Kathy is an extremely good instructor of Bonsai and teach students at any level of development.
