I have updated my Mountain Mahogany – Cercocarpus breviflorus Gray var. breviflorus Bonsai #1 page to show how I was able to repot the tree from a very large brittle plastic tub in the a very large Sara Rayner pot. I tried using a heavy Structural Aluminum Angle bar to anchor the tree into the pot. I believe this new technique is going to work out really well. I was worried that this very heavy tree would tip over in the ceramic pot. The bar did a great job of anchoring the tree int he pot. I do not have a photo of the tree yet in the pot but will do so in the next few days. There are a lot of high quality photos of the tree to look at to.
