I took a couple of photos of my Chaenomeles speciosa ‘Toyo-Nishiki’ – Quince Bonsai tree while it was flowering this year (2021). This is the most flowers it has ever had on it. Just breathtaking they are. In a matter of a few days the flowers changed colors on me. Talking about putting on a new disguise, its hard to believe its the same tree with the change in colors. Still waiting for some Red flowers, its been 12 years now and no red flowers. The base of the tree is now being converted over to mature flakey bark.
