My Ulmus Pumila – Siberian Elm Bonsai received a hair cut a few days ago and new shoots from last year were removed or wired. Some older finer branches had died and they were removed. The tree is now fuller and looks better. Shoots will be allowed to extend and then get back to a pair of leaves to start fine ramification now. You may read more about the tree on the link above.
