The 52nd Annual Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society Show has come and gone now. Here is my favorite tree a yamadori Juniperus communis – Common Juniper from Steve Varland. It is unusual to see a juniper of any kind completely covered in berries. The berries in my opinion makes this tree a special tree worthy to be in the National Bonsai show being held in a few days in Rochester, Ny. Congratulations to Steve and Matt Reel for developing the this magnificent example of collecting a wild tree and development of it into a master piece!
