International Bonsai Master Michael Hagedorn has a new article out titled “Studying City Trees“. In this article Michael gives you reasons for studying trees growing in the city. I look at trees when driving around the Denver metro area. I can guarantee there are really no old manificent trees where I live except for the huge very old Cottonwoods growing along Cherry Creek. You will have to study them on foot. But, drive around Denver escpecially the old parks and you will find trees that Michael is refering to in his article. I have added the article to the Ramification page under Bonsai Basics. Study the ramification on these old city trees and apply it to you Bonsai trees!
