Colorado nursery material can make excellent Bonsai when you take your time and find good material to use. Fall is a good time to find bargains when trees are marked down for sale. Looking everywhere in a nursery is also a good idea, beat up shrubs and trees may be tucked away out of site from the general public. These less then perfect nursery stock may make great Bonsai trees and generally are really marked down in price and sometimes you might get for free! Nursery trees are classified as Pre-Bonsai trees.
