Panayoti Kelaidis, Senior Curator & Director of Outreach at the Denver Botanic Gardens has a very nice article about two Amur – Ginnala Maple trees named “A tale of two gorgeous maples…sad but true!“. Its a great article or story about these trees as told by Panayoti. I just purchased two Amur – Red Rhapsody Amur Maples from Nicks Garden Center in Aurora, Color. These are fairly small trees in 3 gallon pots but they are going to make a really great Bonsai since they are in the basic shape of a Bonsai right from the start.
