HomeUncategorizedColorado Bonsai – Pot selection exercise – Japanese maple

International Bonsai Master Jonas Dupuich has a new article out titled “Pot selection exercise – Japanese maple“. This is a very good article where Jonas shows us how to repot a Japanese Maple and work on the roots of the tree. I like Jonas’s use of chopsticks to mark holes in the soli where he plans to add new soil. He then goes over the pros and cons of selecting a new pot for the tree, very informative information. I have added the article to the following pages: How To Select A Bonsai Pot for Your Tree, Repotting, Roots, Trunk and Root Development. I also added the article to the Maple – Acer Bonsai page under Deciduous Bonsai and Bonsai Tree Information pages.
