International Bonsai Master Michael Hagedorn has a new article out titled “Shimpaku on Rocky Mountain: Revisit“. In this article Michaels shows the history of a Juniperus scopulorum – Rocky Mountain Juniper yamadori tree grafted with Shimpaku juniper foliage. Michael clearly shows the progression of the tree through the years in his photos of the tree. The end result is outstanding and what a beauty it is.
