HomeUncategorizedColorado Bonsai – Campsis radicans – Trumpet vine Bonsai

One of my first nursery tree finds was a yellow Campsis radicans – Trumpet Vine from the Longmont Tree Farm. It was sitting out in the south fields in amongst a bunch of sickly looking vines. I rescued it and a Virgina Creeper vine (now part of the Denver Botanic Bonsai Collection) and brought them home. I spent the following 10 years trying to turn it into a Bonsai Tree. I failed every year, until this year. I finally discovered the secret. Did I mention I am a fast learner? I made a new page for Campsis radicans – Trumpet Vine Bonsai under Deciduous Bonsai and Bonsai Tree Information pages. Check out the page great tips on using Trumpet Vines as Bonsai.
